The medial tentorial artery (MTA) of Bernasconi–Cassinari has been associated with many neurosurgical pathologies, including tentorial and petroclival meningiomas, dural arteriovenous fistulae, hemangioblastomas, moyamoya disease, arteriovenous malformations, trigeminal neuromas, and malignant gliomas.
