The mechanism of the thermal decomposition of azodicarbonamide and the influence of zinc oxide on the decomposition process have been investigated by characterizing its thermal decomposition by TG-MS and IR.The results showed that azodicarbonamide undergoes a three-stage decomposition process: the first stage decomposition gaseous products are N2,CO,and HNCO and biurea is present in the residue;the second stage decomposition gaseous products are NH3 and HNCO;the third stage decomposition… Expand
