  • Abstract An approach to the interpretation of glass refractive index measurements in forensic science casework, which has been developed in five previous papers, is concluded with a discussion of the computer program RUNG. This program assists the forensic scientist in assessing the evidential value of refractive index measurements. A detailed practical example of the program is provided.
