In studies aimed at further characterizing the cellular immunodeficiency of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS), we found that T lymphocytes from WAS patients display abnormal chemotaxis in response to the T-cell chemoattractant stromal cell-derived factor (SDF)-1.
