th node and pinching at 6 th node. Treatments with pinching had the highest yield(18.80t/ha) and highest number of flowers(5.10) compared to plants with no pinching. Pinching plants at 6 th node increased the number of branches compared to pinching plants at 2 nd node. The number of stems were highest (3.65) in pinched plants (TRT 4) compared to plants which did not receive pinching.
