  title={The influence of heat stress and powder of jaloh leaves supplementation into commercial fish feed on body weight gain, hematokrit level and malondialdehid content in the nila’s liver},
  author={Sugito and Samadi and Nurliana},
The aims of this experiment are to find out the effect of temperature stress and jaloh leaves supplementation on body weight gain, hematocrit level, and malondialdehid (MDA) content in the liver tissues of nila fish ( Oreochromis niloticus ). A total of 80 fishes with the weight of 40-50 gr were randomly allocated into 8 treatments. The treatments consisted of P1 (no heat stress and no jaloh leaves supplementation); P2 (no heat stress and 5% of jaloh leaves supplementation) ; P3 (no heat stress…

Performance of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Fingerlings. II. Influence of Different Water Temperatures

It is revealed that water temperature 25-30 o C were more suitable for culture of Nile tilapia fingerlings to obtain optimum growth performance and survival rate.

Physiological stress responses in the warm-water fish matrinxã (Brycon amazonicus ) subjected to a sudden cold shock

It is suggested that matrinxa requires cortisol and glucose for adaptation to increased temperature, and is exposed to cold shock and return to the warm water did not affect HSP70 levels.

The research showed that the substitution of soy meal with azzola has significant effect into growth rate and digestibility parameters in Tilapia.

Real-time quantitative (PCR) applications to quantify and the expression profiles of heat shock protein (HSP70) genes in Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus (L.) and Oreochromis mossambicus (P.).

It is shown that when the tilapia fish muscles are subjected to stress, with the help of abiotic factors- temperatures, whether above or below optimum condition within a stipulated period of time in a peculiar way, will lead to the production of the Hsp70 protein.

PERUBAHAN AMMONIA (NH3-N), NITRIT (NO2-N) DAN NITRAT (NO3-N) PADA MEDIA PEMELIHARAAN IKAN NILA MERAH (Oreochromis sp.) DI DALAM SISTEM RESIRKULASI Changes of Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate at Recirculation System of Red Tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) Rearing

The use of aquatic plant was found to be an effective way to reduce nitrate nitrogen (NO3-N) and a higher conversion efficacy of nitrate (50.15%) in the tank containing aquatic plants was observed by using aeration before biofilter.

The forage value of poplars and willows

Poplars and willows planted on farms for soil conservation and shelter are also potential sources of supplementary forage. The objective of this paper is to provide information that assists in the

The use of immunostimulating herbs in fish. An overview of research

The aim of this paper is to review research currently being carried out on the herbs and herbal extracts that have been shown to modulate the immune system of fish and give special attention to Chinese and Indian herbs.

The use of leukocyte profiles to measure stress in vertebrates: a review for ecologists

It is concluded that the enumeration of white blood cells from blood smears can provide a reliable assessment of stress in all vertebrate taxa because of the universal and consistent nature of the haematological response to stress.
