The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of cyclin D1 and Ki67 proteins involved in cell-cycle control as a prognostic factor in pancreatic carcinomas. We examined formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded material from 59 pancreatic adenocarcinomas, for which appropriate clinical and prognostic data were available.
