OBJECTIVE To provide a contemporary perspective on genetic discovery methods applied to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and Tourette syndrome (TS). METHOD A review of research trends in genetics research in OCD and TS is conducted, with emphasis on novel approaches.
