In this work we present a detailed study of the recently introduced Δm,n basis for three Coulomb particles. We show that the scattering and generalized Coulomb problems as well as a Φ2 approach can be viewed as particular cases of this basis. We derive a partial wave expansion for Δm,n functions and analyse the reduction to some of the precedent cases.

One- and two-dimensional Coulomb Green's function matrices in parabolic Sturmians basis
One- and two-dimensional operators which originate from the asymptotic form of the three-body Coulomb wave equation in parabolic coordinates are treated within the context of a square integrable

Multivariable hypergeometric solutions for three charged particles
We present a new wavefunction which describes the ion - atom problem above the ionization threshold. This is an approximate solution of the Schrodinger equation for the three-body Coulomb problem
Three-body Coulomb continuum problem.
A symmetric representation of the three-body Coulomb continuum wave function as a product of three two-body Coulomb wave functions is modified to allow for three-body effects whereby the Sommerfeld
Asymptotic separability of three-body continuum wave functions for Coulomb systems
We consider a general three-body Coulomb system above the threshold for total break-up. For large particle separations the Schrödinger equation for this system is shown to be separable in terms of
Ionization and electron capture to the continuum in the H + -hydrogen-atom collision
The equivalence of the two-body interactions between the final particles of the ion-atom ionization process is considered in the $T$-matrix formalism. This defines a final wave function which is
A quantum theory of ionisation in fast collisions between ions and atomic systems
Ionisation of atomic systems by fast ions is considered. A second-order quantum theory is derived which correctly accounts for all distortions of the initial- and final-state wavefunctions arising

CDW-EIS theory of ionization by ion impact with Hartree-Fock description of the target
We have carried out a generalization of the continuum-distorted-wave-eikonal-initial-state (CDW-EIS) approximation for ion-impact single ionization where the interaction of the active electron with

The average energy per ion pair, W, for the ionization of helium by 1 to 6 MeV α-particles is calculated using the Born approximation, the number of ion pairs produced by secondary, tertiary, etc.,
