The genus currently encompasses about 60 species or subspecies including those of the genus Eoseviulisoma Brolemann, 1920 recently synonymized by Enghoff [2018], a synonymy previously suggested, but not formalized by VandenSpiegel & Golovatch [2014]. All described species are known from central (R.D. Congo) and eastern Africa. So far, no species has been reported from the central West African region [Carl…

The genus Jeekelosoma Mauriès, 1985 – Moroccan cave millipedes (Diplopoda, Polydesmida, Paradoxosomatidae)
The type species, Jeekelosoma abadi (Mauriès, 1985) is redescribed based on topotypical material from a cave in Morocco, and two new species are described from two further Moroccan caves.

The millipede genus Eviulisoma Silvestri, 1910 in Kenya, with descriptions of new species (Diplopoda, Polydesmida, Paradoxosomatidae)
The genus Eviulisoma, the largest among Afrotropical Paradoxosomatidae, currently encompasses 36 species or subspecies, including six new from Kenya, which are recorded for the first time beyond their type localities in Kenya and Tanzania.
A worldwide catalog of the family Paradoxosomatidae Daday, 1889 (Diplopoda: Polydesmida)
A catalog of the family Paradoxosomatidae (order Polydesmida) is presented here listing a total of 198 genera with 975 valid species, of which eighty-five of the 198 paradoxosom atid genera are monotypic.
Checklist of the Millipedes (Diplopoda) of Tanzania
A checklist of millipedes (Diplopoda) known to occur in Tanzania is given, including seven species never before recorded from the country, and eight species erroneously recorded from Tanzania are excluded.
Focus stacking: Comparing commercial top-end set-ups with a semi-automatic low budget approach. A possible solution for mass digitization of type specimens
The system is inexpensive compared to high-end commercial focus stacking solutions, composed of commercial photographic equipment and enables institutions to purchase multiple solutions or to start digitising the type collection on a large scale even with a small budget.
