Ten cases of villous adenoma of the duodenum among 8,754 endoscopic examinations of the upper gastrointestinal tract were found over a nine year period. The varied clinical manifestations included gastrointestinal bleeding in five cases, partial duodenal obstruction in four, and jaundice with common bile duct obstruction in two.
