Abstract Objective To assess the effects of socio-economic status (SES) on BMI, waist:hip ratio (WHR) and waist circumference (WC) in a group of Iranian women. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted on 888 women in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. SES was measured using level of education.
