AbstractPurpose We tested whether short-term vitamin D supplementation improves insulin resistance in patients with kidney disease, a condition with little intrinsic vitamin D activity.MethodsPubMed, EMBASE and CENTRAL were searched for relevant observational studies and randomized clinical trials (RCTs).
