Fish were irradiated with 60Co gamma rays at doses ranging from 10 to 50 Gy. Lethal doses were determined in fishes of different ages. For a given dose, fry and fingerlings were more susceptible than subadults. Whatever the irradiation dose was, the fish displayed a sharp decrease in blood leucocyte count.
