Age-related changes in the number and size of large cholinergic terminals immunoreactive for vesicular acetylcholine transporter (VAChT), were documented for the dorsolateral nucleus (DLN), retrodorsolateral nucleus (RDLN) and spinal nucleus of the bulbospongiosus (SNB) of the lumbosacral spinal cord of male rats.
