The effect of short-term inhibition and stimulation of the central nervous system on the immunological sensitivity of the system to cancer antigen

Abstract

The central nervoas system of. the animals in the ffxt~-t experimental group was inhibited one hour prior to the administration of ~ c immunizing agent l~/" the injec~on qf chloral hydrate dissolved in 10 ml of distilled water (0.5 g of soporific per I kg of weight). Medicated deep began 30-40 :minutes afr-~r the administration of Lne chloral hydrate and la.-ted 3-4 hours; it was so deep that it was accompa:aie d by complete loss of not only the motor, but also the tactile reflexes.
