A b s t r a c t. A laboratory experiment was conducted in 2015 to evaluate the germination energy and capacity of seeds of four ornamental plant species, treated with various biologically active substances. Three replications of the experiment were performed in three independent series. The experimental materials comprised seeds of four ornamental plant species: China aster (Callistephus chinensis (L.) Nees), scarlet sage (Salvia splendens Sellow ex Roemer & J.A. Schultes), common zinnia…

Effects of Biostimulants in Horticulture, with Emphasis on Ornamental Plant Production
: The biostimulant segment is becoming increasingly important worldwide. One of the reasons for this is that fewer plant protection products are placed on the market in the European Union, and
Rooting Media and Biostimulator Goteo Treatment Effect the Adventitious Root Formation of Pennisetum ‘Vertigo’ Cuttings and the Quality of the Final Product
Rooting medium after 2 months of pot cultivation had no effect on biometric features of plants, but those grown from cuttings rooted in peat had a higher fresh weight (FW) compared to those rooted in perlite, and Goteo watering during rooting stimulated the formation of new shoots in the greenhouse cultivation.

Evaluation of possibility of the seed health status improving of dill and fennel grown in organic systems.
The usefulness of the used biological compounds, Physpe, Goemar Goteo, Biojodis and Tytanit, in dill and fennel production of seeds, in order to improve their health status and the seed value is demonstrated.
Physiological method for improving seed germination and seedling emergence of root parsley in organic systems
The aim of the experiments was to determine the optimal parameters of hydroconditioning of root parsley ’Berlinska’ seeds and an indication of how the moisture content and the time of incubation
Effects of Cytokinin-Containing Seaweed Extract on Phaseolus lunatus L.: Influence of Nutrient Availability and Apex Removal
This particular seaweed extract was not beneficial for stimulating the growth of immature Phaseolus lunatus or promoting their compensation for damage, and the extract did not provide supplementary nutrients to these plants.
Effect of conditioning on dill (Anethum graveolens L.) seed germination and plant emergence.
The results indicated that seed conditioning in water increases their enzymatic activity, membrane integrity and uniform germination, and expressed in a greater number of embryos germinated in shorter tim e and seedlings derived from such treated seeds merged and grown faster and had higher quality than the control plan ts.
