The study was conducted in the Cagayan Valley region of the Northern Philippines to generate baseline data and information on the profitability and economics of organic vegetable “pinakbet” production versus conventional vegetable production. A total of 64 organic and 52 conventional vegetable producers were taken as respondents. Data were gathered through field reconnaissance survey and interview using structured questionnaire.
