(1) Spatial and temporal patterns of regeneration of the major Tasmanian cool temperate rainforest canopy species were investigated. Nothofagus cunninghamii, Eucryphia lucida and Atherosperma moschatum generally exhibit continuous regeneration and tend towards self-replacement.
