We determine the dynamical distance D, inclination i, mass-to-light ratio M/L and the intrinsic orbital structure of the globular cluster ω Cen, by fitting axisymmetric dynamical models to the ground-based proper motions of van Leeuwen et al. and line-of-sight velocities from four independent data-sets. We bring the kinematic measurements onto a common coordinate system, and select on cluster membership and on measurement error. This provides a homogeneous data-set of 2295 stars with proper…
The dynamical mass-to-light ratio profile and distance of the globular cluster M15
We construct orbit-based axisymmetric dynamical models for the globular cluster M15 that fit ground-based line-of-sight velocities and Hubble Space Telescope line-of-sight velocities and proper
The eye of Gaia on globular clusters kinematics: internal rotation
We derived the three-dimensional velocities of individual stars in a sample of 62 Galactic globular clusters using proper motions from the second data release of the Gaia mission together with the
The internal rotation of globular clusters revealed by Gaia DR2
Line-of-sight kinematic studies indicate that many Galactic globular clusters have a significant degree of internal rotation. However, three-dimensional kinematics from a combination of proper
The old Nuclear Star Cluster in the Milky Way
We derive new constraints on the mass, rotation, orbit structure and statistical parallax of the Galactic old nuclear star cluster (NSC) and the mass of the supermassive black hole. We combine star
Hubble Space Telescope Proper Motion (HSTPROMO) Catalogs of Galactic Globular Clusters. V. The rapid rotation of 47 Tuc traced and modeled in three dimensions
High-precision proper motions of the globular cluster 47 Tuc have allowed us to measure for the first time the cluster rotation in the plane of the sky and the velocity anisotropy profile from the
The Strong Rotation of M5 (NGC 5904) as Seen from the MIKiS Survey of Galactic Globular Clusters
In the context of the ESO-VLT Multi-Instrument Kinematic Survey (MIKiS) of Galactic globular clusters, we present the line-of-sight rotation curve and velocity dispersion profile of M5 (NGC 5904), as
Radial velocities in the globular cluster ω Centauri
We have used the ARGUS multi-object spectrometer at the CTIO 4 m Blanco telescope to obtain 2756 radial velocity measurements for 1966 individual stars in the globular cluster ω  Centauri brighter
The dynamics of the globular cluster NGC 3201 out to the Jacobi radius
As part of a chemo-dynamical survey of five nearby globular clusters with 2dF/AAOmega on the Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT), we have obtained kinematic information for the globular cluster NGC
Hubble Space Telescope Proper Motion (HSTPROMO) Catalogs of Galactic Globular Clusters. III. Dynamical Distances and Mass-to-Light Ratios
We present dynamical distance estimates for 15 Galactic globular clusters and use these to check the consistency of dynamical and photometric distance estimates. For most of the clusters, this is the
Mean proper motions, space orbits, and velocity dispersion profiles of Galactic globular clusters derived fromGaiaDR2 data
We have derived the mean proper motions and space velocities of 154 Galactic globular clusters and the velocity dispersion profiles of 141 globular clusters based on a combination of Gaia DR2 proper

The stellar dynamics of omega centauri.
The stellar dynamics of Omega Centauri are inferred from the radial velocities of 469 stars measured with CORAVEL (Mayor et al. 1997). Rather than fit the data to a family of models, we generate
Radial velocities of stars in the globular cluster M4 and the cluster distance
The internal stellar velocity distribution of the globular cluster M4 is evaluated from nearly 200 new radial velocity measurements good to 1 km/s and a rederivation of existing proper motions. The

Relative proper motions with typical standard errors approx. +- 0''.020 century/sup -1/ have been measured for 266 stars in the region of M3 yielding an excellent segregation of cluster members from
