  • One hundred and seventy six taxa of Cyanoprocaryota, Rhodophyta, Cryptophyta, Chromophyta, Chrysophyta, Euglenophyta and Chlorophyta were identified in 1998 and 1999 in peatbogs in the Dury Reserve in Tuchola Forest. The number of taxa decreased with distance from the open water. Desmidaceae were the commonest. Species such as Penium silvae-nigrae f parallelum (W. Krieg.)
