SCOPE To study the factors associated with mortality in hospitalized patients with community-acquired pneumonia treated with monotherapy or combination therapy. METHODS PubMed and Scopus were searched. Patients receiving macrolides, β-lactams and fluoroquinolones, as monotherapy or in combination, were included.
