Summary and Conclusion1.The effect of keeping eggs of Chirocephalus diaphanus in different depths of water for various periods of time is investigated.2.It is found that at depths of 5, 10 and 15 cms. the period required for development and hatching is greater than that required in shallow water, and that the time required increases with increase of depth over this range.3.At depths of 20 cm. and greater little development appears to occurs: eggs transferred from these depths to shallow water… CONTINUE READING
