A holographic duality is proposed relating quantum gravity on dSD (D-dimensional de Sitter space) to conformal field theory on a single SD−1 ((D-1)-sphere), in which bulk de Sitter correlators with points on the boundary are related to CFT correlators on the sphere, and points on + (the future boundary of dSD) are mapped to the antipodal points on SD−1 relative to those on −. For the case of dS3, which is analyzed in some detail, the central charge of the CFT2 is computed in an analysis of the… Expand

Some aspects of the de Sitter/CFT correspondence
Abstract We discuss several aspects of the proposed correspondence between quantum gravity on de Sitter spaces and Euclidean conformal field theories. The central charge appearing in the asymptoticExpand
Holographic Description of Curved-Space Quantum Field Theory and Gravity
The celebrated AdS/CFT dualities provide a window to strongly-coupled quantum eld theories (QFTs), which are realized in nature at the most fundamental level on the one hand, but are hardlyExpand
Conformal vacua and entropy in de Sitter space
The de Sitter/conformal field theory (dS/CFT) correspondence is illuminated through an analysis of massive scalar field theory in d-dimensional de Sitter space. We consider a one-parameter family ofExpand
Exploring de Sitter space and holography
Abstract We explore aspects of the physics of de Sitter (dS) space that are relevant to holography with a positive cosmological constant. First we display a non-local map that commutes with the deExpand

State/Operator Correspondence in Higher-Spin dS/CFT
A recently conjectured microscopic realization of the dS4/CFT3 correspondence relating Vasiliev’s higher-spin gravity on dS4 to a Euclidean Sp(N) CFT3 is used to illuminate some previouslyExpand
A Holographic Dual of CFT with Flavor on de Sitter Space
We introduce a D7-brane probe in AdS5 × S5 background in a way that the 4d part of the induced metric on D7-brane becomes 4d de-Sitter space (dS4) inside AdS5 instead of 4d Minkowski space. AlthoughExpand
Higher spin realization of the DS/CFT correspondence
We conjecture that Vasiliev's theory of higher spin gravity in four-dimensional de Sitter space (dS) is holographically dual to a three-dimensional conformal field theory (CFT) living on theExpand
The dS/dS Correspondence
We present a holographic duality for the de Sitter static patch which consolidates basic features of its geometry and the behavior of gravity and brane probes, valid on timescales short compared toExpand
dS/CFT Correspondence from a Holographic Description of Massless Scalar Fields in Minkowski Space-Time
Abstract We solve Klein–Gordon equation for massless scalars on ( d + 1 ) -dimensional Minkowski (Euclidean) space in terms of the Cauchy data on the hypersurface t = 0 . By inserting the solutionExpand

Anti-de Sitter space and holography
Recently, it has been proposed by Maldacena that large $N$ limits of certain conformal field theories in $d$ dimensions can be described in terms of supergravity (and string theory) on the product ofExpand
The holographic Weyl anomaly
We calculate the Weyl anomaly for conformal field theories that can be described via the adS/CFT correspondence. This entails regularizing the gravitational part of the corresponding supergravityExpand
The boundary S-matrix and the AdS to CFT dictionary
An S-matrix is defined for anti-de Sitter space by constructing “in” and “out” states that asymptote to the timelike boundary. An analog of the LSZ formula shows that this boundary S-matrix is givenExpand
DeSitter entropy, quantum entanglement and ADS/CFT
A de Sitter brane-world bounding regions of anti-de Sitter space has a macroscopic entropy given by one-quarter the area of the observer horizon. A proposed variant of the AdS/CFT correspondenceExpand

TLDR
This work shows that the pair production of electric black holes is not a runaway process, as one might think if one just went by the action of the relevant instanton, and comments on the definition of the entropy in cosmological situations. Expand
Timelike T-duality, de Sitter space, large N gauge theories and topological field theory
T-Duality on a timelike circle does not interchange IIA and IIB string theories, but takes the IIA theory to a type IIB* theory and the IIB theory to a type IIA* theory. The type II* theories admitExpand
