. The cosmological background of higher order vector modes can be generated by the first order scalar perturbations. We investigate the second order and the third order vector modes systematically. The explicit expressions of two point functions (cid:104) V ( n ) ,λ V ( n ) ,λ (cid:48) (cid:105) ( n = 2 , 3) and power spectra corresponded are presented. In the case of a monochromatic primordial power spectrum, the second order vector modes do not exist. However, the third order vector modes can…

Impact of the free-streaming neutrinos to the second order induced gravitational waves

The damping effect of the free-streaming neutrinos on the second order gravitational waves is investigated in detail. We solve the Boltzmann equation and give the anisotropic stress induced

Weak lensing induced by second-order vector mode

The vector mode of cosmological perturbation theory imprints characteristic signals on the weak lensing signals such as curl- and B-modes which are never imprinted by the scalar mode. However, the

The cosmological background of vector modes

We investigate the spectrum of vector modes today which is generated at second order by density perturbations. The vector mode background that is generated by structure formation is small but in

The third order scalar induced gravitational waves

Since the gravitational waves were detected by LIGO and Virgo, it has been promising that lots of information about the primordial Universe could be learned by further observations on stochastic

CMB polarization from secondary vector and tensor modes

We consider a novel contribution to the polarization of the cosmic microwave background induced by vector and tensor modes generated by the nonlinear evolution of primordial scalar perturbations. Our

Steepest growth of the power spectrum and primordial black holes

We derive analytic bounds on the shape of the primordial power spectrum in the context of single-field inflation. In particular, the steepest possible growth has a spectral index of ns − 1 = 4 once

Search for a Scalar Induced Stochastic Gravitational Wave Background in the Third LIGO-Virgo Observing Run.

The formation of primordial black holes from inflationary fluctuations is accompanied by a scalar induced gravitational wave background. We perform a Bayesian search of such background in the data

Vector modes generated by primordial density fluctuations

While vector modes are usually ignored in cosmology since they are not produced during inflation they are inevitably produced from the interaction of density fluctuations of differing wavelengths.

Gravitational Wave Spectrum Induced by Primordial Scalar Perturbations

We derive the complete spectrum of gravitational waves induced by primordial scalar perturbations ranging over all observable wavelengths. This scalar-induced contribution can be computed directly

Induced gravitational waves from the cosmic coincidence

The induced gravitational wave (GW) background from enhanced primordial scalar perturbations is one of the most promising observational consequences of primordial black hole (PBH) formation from

Weak lensing generated by vector perturbations and detectability of cosmic strings

We study the observational signature of vector metric perturbations through the effect of weak gravitational lensing. In the presence of vector perturbations, the non-vanishing signals for B-mode
