Abstract

Recent work on functional neuroimaging in schizophrenia is reviewed. The contribution of these studies is twofold: first, they help reintroducing some of the psychotic symptoms into the framework of well defined cognitive functions, such as representation of actions; second, they point to the implication of specific neural networks (including in the frontal and parietal lobes) in these dysfunctions.
