Abstract

The Block Model I 4 T in te r fe romete r was used~),a),a). As example , typ ica l resu l t s of spec t ra of oleic acid on AI are shown. Af ter the emiss ion spec t ra of c lean A1 had been obta ined, t he surface was coated wi th oleic acid and wiped d ry (Fig. t). The spec t ra of t he t r ea ted surface show the character i s t ic 5.82 bt acid b a n d as well as b a n d s nea r the 6.4 b~ oleate ion band , showing t h a t a surface reac t ion had occurred.
