Recently we showed that de novo ribosome biosynthesis is transcriptionally regulated in Coccidia, depending on their life-cycle stage. Since the expression of ribosomal protein genes is likely coordinated, the transcriptional control of all Toxoplasma gondii ribosomal protein (RP) genes was analysed.
