We show that the 4.8 hour X-ray light curve of Cygnus X-3, as observed by the Einstein (HEAO 2) X-Ray Observatory in 1978 December, can be quantitatively described by several models proposed for this source, under the assumption that the heat binary orbit of Cyg X-3 is elliptic. We infer orbital parameters for Cyg X-3 from these models.
