1. The dorsal light reaction has been observed in Daphnia magna Straus with infra-red macrophotography. The body axis (antero-posterior axis) of the Daphnia assumes orientations of 0° to ±40° (median values) from the direction of a light source rather the 90° reported for other arthropods. 2.
