M.oliefera oliefera (MO) is a middle-sized tree, cultivated throughout India. It is a multipurpose tree, used as a vegetable, spice, a source of cooking and cosmetic oil and as a medicinal plant. It is reported to contain alkaloids, flavonoids, anthocyanins. It possesses anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antihyperlipidaemic, antifertility and anticancer activities. The Effects of Moringa Oleifera Lam . Leaves Extract on Osteogenic Differentiation of Porcine Bone Marrow Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells

The results showed that ethanolic extract of Moringa oleifera Lam shows enchanced osteogenic differentiation capacity of porcine bone marrow derived MSCs as demonstrated by increased ALP staining and ALP activity, which leads to the potential for using those for bone regeneration in pre-clinical models and bone alternative medicine.
