BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE To analyze the frequency and spectrum of KIT and platelet-derived growth factor receptor-alpha (PDGFRA) gene in a large series of study and to explore the clinical implication of mutations in the gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) in China.
