Abstract Ceratreta tanneri is a widespread and biostratigraphically significant species within Baltoscandia. In northern Estonia and the Leningrad district (USSR) it is restricted to the Upper Cambrian quartzose Ulgase and Ladoga formations (lower Westergaardodina Biozone).
