We present significant improvements in cosmic distance measurements from the WiggleZ Dark Energy Survey, achieved by applying the reconstruction of the baryonic acoustic feature technique. We show using both data and simulations that the reconstruction technique can often be effective despite patchiness of the survey, significant edge effects and shot-noise. We investigate three redshift bins in the redshift range 0.2 < z < 1, and in all three find improvement after reconstruction in the…
Dark Energy Survey Year 1 results: measurement of the baryon acoustic oscillation scale in the distribution of galaxies to redshift 1
We present angular diameter distance measurements obtained by locating the baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) scale in the distribution of galaxies selected from the first year of Dark Energy
Low redshift baryon acoustic oscillation measurement from the reconstructed 6-degree field galaxy survey.
TLDR
This paper re-evaluate the cosmological information from the BAO detection in 6dFGS making use of halo occupation distribution (HOD)-populated COmoving Lagrangian Acceleration (COLA) mocks for an accurate covariance matrix and take advantage of the now commonly implemented technique of density field reconstruction.
The clustering of galaxies in the completed SDSS-III Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey: baryon acoustic oscillations in the Fourier space
Here, we analyse the Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) signal of the final Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) data release (DR12). Our analysis is performed in Fourier-space, using the
Measuring the 2D baryon acoustic oscillation signal of galaxies in WiggleZ: cosmological constraints
TLDR
The cosmological constraints are consistent with flat ΛCDM cosmology and agree with results from the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey.
The BOSS–WiggleZ overlap region – I. Baryon acoustic oscillations
We study the large-scale clustering of galaxies in the overlap region of the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) CMASS sample and the WiggleZ Dark Energy Survey. We calculate the
Measuring the distance-redshift relation with the baryon acoustic oscillations of galaxy clusters
We analyse the largest spectroscopic samples of galaxy clusters to date, and provide observational constraints on the distance-redshift relation from baryon acoustic oscillations. The cluster samples
An accurate determination of the Hubble constant from baryon acoustic oscillation datasets
Even though the Hubble constant cannot be significantly determined just by the low-redshift Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) data, it can be tightly constrained once the high-redshift BAO data are
The clustering of the SDSS-IV extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey DR14 quasar sample: a tomographic measurement of cosmic structure growth and expansion rate based on optimal redshift weights
We develop a new method, which is based on the optimal redshift weighting scheme, to extract the maximal tomographic information of baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) and redshift space distortions
Hints of the $H_0-r_d$ tension in uncorrelated Baryon Acoustic Oscillations dataset
Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) datasets use very precise measurements of the spatial distribution of large-scale structures as a distance ladder to help constrain cosmological parameters. In a

We present the large-scale clustering of emission line galaxies (ELG) from the Data Release 16 of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey IV extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey. The ELG sample
