The purpose of this paper is to clarify the validity of the Temporary Mood Scale (TMS). The TMS was devised to measure continually changing moods. It measures six types of moods, i.e., tension, depression, anger, confusion, fatigue, and vigor. The subjects of this investigation were two groups of university students.
