This report presents a revised list of the birds recorded in Trinidad and Tobago as of June 2007 and an assessment of their abundance based on our own observations and documented sightings. Information on status has been gleaned mainly from guides to the birds of Trinidad and Tobago (ffrench 1991), the West Indies (Raffaele et al. 1998), and Venezuela (Hilty et al. 2003), as well as from recent studies.
