Results obtained in studies of coagulation behaviour of some hydrophilic (rutile) and hydrophobic (graphitised carbon black Sterling MTG) materials in solutions of the anionic surface active agent Aerosol OT (Na-di-2-ethylhexyl sulphosuccinate) in hydrocarbons (xylene) are discussed.
