We present the global optical photometry of 246 galaxies in the Local Volume Legacy (LVL) survey. The full volume-limited sample consists of 258 nearby (D <11 Mpc) galaxies whose absolute Biband magnitude span a range of i9.6 < MB < i20.7 mag. A composite optical (UBV R) data set is constructed from observed UBV R and SDSS ugriz imaging, where the ugriz magnitudes are transformed into UBV R. We present photometry within three galaxy apertures defined at UV, optical, and IR wavelengths. Flux…

Updated 34-band Photometry for the SINGS/KINGFISH Samples of Nearby Galaxies
We present an update to the ultraviolet-to-radio database of global broadband photometry for the 79 nearby galaxies that comprise the union of the KINGFISH (Key Insights on Nearby Galaxies: A
Empirical ugri-UBVRc transformations for galaxies
We present empirical color transformations between Sloan Digital Sky Survey ugri and Johnson-Cousins UBVRc photometry for nearby galaxies (D < 11 Mpc). We use the Local Volume Legacy (LVL) galaxy
A Deeper Look at Faint H$\alpha$ Emission in Nearby Dwarf Galaxies
We present deep Hα imaging of three nearby dwarf galaxies, carefully selected to optimize observations with the Maryland-Magellan Tunable Filter (MMTF) on the Magellan 6.5 m telescope. An effective
ROTATIONAL DYNAMICS AND STAR FORMATION IN THE NEARBY DWARF GALAXY NGC 5238
We present new H i spectral-line images of the nearby low-mass galaxy NGC 5238, acquired with the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array. Located at a distance of 4.51 ± 0.04 Mpc, NGC 5238 is an actively
Luminosity Functions and Host-to-host Scatter of Dwarf Satellite Systems in the Local Volume
Low-mass satellites around Milky Way (MW)-like galaxies are important probes of small-scale structure and galaxy formation. However, confirmation of satellite candidates with distance measurements
Census of the Local Universe (CLU) Narrowband Survey. I. Galaxy Catalogs from Preliminary Fields
We present the Census of the Local Universe (CLU) narrowband survey to search for emission-line (Hα) galaxies. CLU-Hα has imaged ≈3π of the sky (26,470 deg2) with four narrowband filters that probe a
The H i content of extremely metal-deficient blue compact dwarf galaxies
We have obtained new HI observations with the 100m Green Bank Telescope (GBT) for a sample of 29 extremely metal-deficient star-forming Blue Compact Dwarf (BCD) galaxies, selected from the Sloan
The Exploration of Local VolumE Satellites (ELVES) Survey: A Nearly Volume-limited Sample of Nearby Dwarf Satellite Systems
We present the final sample of the Exploration of Local VolumE Satellites (ELVES) survey, a survey of the dwarf satellites of a nearly volume-limited sample of Milky Way (MW)−like hosts in the Local
Panchromatic spectral energy distributions of simulated galaxies: results at redshift z = 0
We present predictions of Spectral Energy Distributions (SEDs), from the UV to the FIR, of simulated galaxies at $z=0$. These were obtained by post-processing the results of an N-body+hydro
A close look at the dwarf AGN of NGC 4395: optical and near-IR integral field spectroscopy
Intermediate mass black holes (10$^3$-10$^5$ M$_\odot$) in the center of dwarf galaxies are believed to be analogous to growing Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) in the early Universe. Their
