Since the discovery of the soybean aphid, Aphis glycinesMatsumura, in North America in the summer of 2000, a great deal of interest has developed in the biology, ecology, and control of this insect in its native range of eastern Asia. Although there is a wealth of literature on A. glycines that could help guide the efforts of North American entomologists, much of it is written in Chinese.
