-acetylserine (thiol) lyase (OASTL) genes were isolated by screening a genomic library of the primitive red alga Cyanidioschyzon merolae and named cmSAT2, and cmOASTL1 and cmOASTL2, respectively. cmSAT2 encoded a polypeptide of 406 amino acids. cmSAT2 was encoded on chromosome IX. cmOASTL1 and cmOASTL2 encoded for polypeptides of 389 and 390 amino acids… (More)
