Abstract We calculate ( g −2)/2 of the muon, by improving the determination of the hadronic vacuum polarisation contribution, a had, LO μ , and its uncertainties. The different e + e − data sets for each exclusive (and the inclusive) channel are combined in order to obtain the optimum estimate of the cross sections and their uncertainties. QCD sum rules are evaluated in order to resolve an apparent discrepancy between the inclusive data and the sum of the exclusive channels. We conclude a had… Expand

Precise measurements of the hadronic cross sections at the VEPP-2M collider with the CMD-2 detector

The muon g − 2 in the standard model and beyond
Abstract We review the present status of the theoretical evaluation of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon α μ in the Standard Model. We mainly focus on the hadronic contributions due to vacuumExpand
Constraints on the I=1 hadronic τ decay and e+e−→hadrons data sets and implications for (g−2)μ
Abstract Sum rule tests are performed on the spectral data for (i) flavor ud vector-current-induced hadronic τ decays and (ii) e + e − hadroproduction, in the region below s ∼ 3 – 4 GeV 2 , whereExpand
Low-Energy e+e− Hadronic Annihilation Cross Sections
The past decade has seen very significant progress in the measurement of the cross section for the annihilation process e + e − → hadrons. Different experimental approaches have helped achieve a moreExpand
Precision measurements of σhadronic for αeff(E) at ILC energies and (g−2)μ
1. INTRODUCTIONOf all non-perturbative hadronic effects enter-ing the predictions of a host of electroweak pre-cision observables, the main effect enters via theeffective fine-structure “constant” α(E)Expand
Lattice calculation of the lowest-order hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment.
We present a quenched lattice calculation of the lowest order [O(alpha(2))] hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon which arises from the hadronic vacuum polarization. AExpand
