A total of1,879 sera from cattle vaccinated over-age or as adult animals withBr. abortus strain19 vaccine was subjected to the Rose Bengal Plate Agglutination Test (RBPT), and all reactors, to the Serum Agglutination Test (SAT) and Complement Fixation Test (CFT). Four hundred and nine sera reacted to the RBPT,279 were confirmed positive by the CFT but only161 by the SAT.
