Objective: To clarify the relationship between self-esteem and motivation preference. Methods:Based on Radford's self-esteem scale and Teresa's work preference inventory, a total of 226 university students were tested.Results: (1) Item analysis showed that some items on self-esteem scale and extrinsic motivation scale should be excluded.
