The γ-ray narrow-line Seyfert 1 (NLS1) galaxies can be considered to be the third class of γ-ray active galactic nuclei possessing relativistic jets. In this paper, we present multi-band high-resolution Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) images of the γ-ray NLS1, SDSS J211852.96-073227.5 (J2118-0732, z = 0.26). We find a core-jet radio morphology and significant flux density variations in the radio core. The high brightness temperature estimated from VLBA images and core variability demonstrate…

Radio jet structures at ∼100 pc and larger scales of the γ-ray-emitting narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy PMN J0948+0022

The narrow-line Seyfert 1 (NLS1) galaxy PMN J0948+0022 is an archetype of γ-ray-emitting NLS1s in active galactic nuclei (AGNs). In this study, we investigate its radio structures using archival

Multiwavelength observations of the γ-ray-emitting narrow-line Seyfert 1 PMN J0948+0022 in 2011

We report on radio-to-gamma-ray observations during 2011 May-September of PMN J0948+0022, the first narrow-line Seyfert 1 (NLSy1) galaxy detected in gamma-rays by Fermi-Large Area Telescope. Strong

Gamma-Ray-emitting Narrow-line Seyfert 1 Galaxies in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey

The detection of significant γ-ray emission from radio-loud narrow-line Seyfert 1 (NLSy1s) galaxies enables us to study jets in environments different than those in blazars. However, due to the small

SDSS J211852.96-073227.5: a new γ-ray flaring narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy

We report on the identification of a new {\gamma}-ray-emitting narrow-line Seyfert 1 (NLS1) galaxy, SDSS J211852.96-073227.5 (hereinafter J2118-0732). The galaxy, at a redshift of 0.26, is associated

The ordinary life of the γ-ray emitting narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy PKS 1502+036

We report on multifrequency observations of the γ-ray emitting narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy PKS 1502+036 performed from radio to γ-rays during 2008 August–2012 November by Fermi-Large Area Telescope

Prospects for gamma-ray observations of narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies with the Cherenkov Telescope Array

Gamma-ray emitting narrow-line Seyfert 1 ($\gamma$-NLSy1) galaxies are thought to harbour relatively low-mass black holes (10$^6$-10$^8$ M$_{\odot}$) accreting close to the Eddington limit. They show

THE RADIO PROPERTIES OF RADIO-LOUD NARROW-LINE SEYFERT 1 GALAXIES ON PARSEC SCALES

We present the detection of the compact radio structures of 14 radio-loud narrow-line Seyfert 1 (NLS1) galaxies from Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) observations at 5 GHz performed in 2013. While 50%

Evidence of powerful relativistic jets in narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 Galaxies and their place in the Universe

In 2008, the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope has revealed – for the first time – high-energy (E > 100 MeV) g rays from a few Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 Galaxies (NLS1s). Later, in 2009 and 2010, two

Radio-loud Narrow-line Seyfert 1 (NLS1) galaxies are unique probes of the formation of powerful radio jets at extreme (near-Eddington) accretion rates and low black hole masses, in a regime very

Properties of flat-spectrum radio-loud Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 Galaxies

We have conducted a multiwavelength survey of 42 radio loud narrow-1ine Seyfert 1 galaxies (RLNLS1s), selected by searching among all the known sources of this type and omitting those with steep
