We investigate the physical spectrum of vector-like SU(N) gauge theories with infrared coupling close to but above the critical value for a conformal phase transition. We use dispersion relations, the momentum dependence of the dynamical fermion mass and resonance saturation. We show that the second spectral function sum rule is substantially affected by the continuum contribution, allowing for a reduction of the axial vector - vector mass splitting with respect to QCD-like theories. Chiral Phase Transition for SU(N) Gauge Theories via an Effective Lagrangian Approach

We study the chiral phase transition for vector-like SU ( N ) gauge theories as a function of the number of quark flavors N f by making use of an anomaly-induced effective potential. We modify an

Spectrum of SU(2) gauge theory with two fermions in the adjoint representation

We present preliminary results of lattice simulations of SU(2) gauge theory with two Wilson fermions in the adjoint representation. This theory has recently attracted considerable attention because

Conformal House

We investigate the gauge dynamics of nonsupersymmetric SU(N) gauge theories featuring the simultaneous presence of fermionic matter transforming according to two distinct representations of the

Higgs critical exponents and conformal bootstrap in four dimensions

A bstractWe investigate relevant properties of composite operators emerging in non-supersymmetric, four-dimensional gauge-Yukawa theories with interacting conformal fixed points within a precise

Phase diagrams of SU(N) gauge theories with fermions in various representations

We minimize the one-loop effective potential for SU(N) gauge theories including fermions with finite mass in the fundamental (F), adjoint (Adj), symmetric (S), and antisymmetric (AS) representations.

Dynamic AdS/QCD and the spectrum of walking gauge theories

We present a simple AdS/QCD model in which the formation of the chiral condensate is dynamically determined. The gauge dynamics is input through the running of the quark bilinear’s anomalous

Conformal windows of Sp(2N) and SO(N) gauge theories

We study the nonperturbative dynamics of nonsupersymmetric asymptotically free gauge theories with fermionic matter in distinct representations of the SO(N) and Sp(2N) gauge groups. We use different

The Electroweak Phase Transition in Nearly Conformal Technicolor

We examine the temperature-dependent electroweak phase transition in extensions of the standard model in which the electroweak symmetry is spontaneously broken via strongly coupled, nearly conformal

Exploring Models for New Physics on the Lattice

Strongly-coupled gauge theories are an important ingredient in the construction of many extensions of the standard model, particularly for models of electroweak symmetry breaking in which the Higgs
