We present an analysis of physical properties of 34 [O iii] emission-line galaxies (ELGs) at z = 3.254 ± 0.029 in the Extended Chandra Deep Field South (ECDFS). These ELGs are selected from deep narrow H2S(1) and broad K s imaging of 383 arcmin2 obtained with CFHT/WIRCam. We construct spectral energy distributions (SEDs) from U to K s to derive the physical properties of ELGs. These [O iii] ELGs are identified as starburst galaxies with strong [O iii] lines of L OIII ∼ 1042.6–1044.2 erg s−1 and…

Broadband Selection, Spectroscopic Identification, and Physical Properties of a Population of Extreme Emission-line Galaxies at 3 < z < 3.7
We present the selection, spectroscopic identification, and physical properties of extreme emission-line galaxies (EELGs) at 3 < z < 3.7, aiming at studying physical properties of an analog
[O III] emission line as a tracer of star-forming galaxies at high redshifts: comparison between Hα and [O III] emitters at z=2.23 in HiZELS
We investigate the properties of z=2.23 Hα and [Oiii]λ5007 emitters using the narrow-bandselected samples obtained from the High-z Emission Line Survey (HiZELS: Sobral et al. 2013). We construct two
Evolution of the H β + [O iii] and [O ii] luminosity functions and the [O ii] star formation history of the Universe up to z ∼ 5 from HiZELS
We investigate the evolution of the Hβ + [O III] and [O II] luminosity functions from z ~ 0.8 to ~5 in four redshift slices per emission line using data from the High-z Emission Line Survey (HiZELS).
MOSEL: Strong [OIII]5007 \AA\ Emitting Galaxies at (3
To understand how strong emission line galaxies (ELGs) contribute to the overall growth of galaxies and star formation history of the universe, we target Strong ELGs (SELGs) from the ZFOURGE imaging
CIGALE: a python Code Investigating GALaxy Emission
Context. Measuring how the physical properties of galaxies change across cosmic times is essential to understand galaxy formation and evolution. With the advent of numerous ground-based and
Discovery of Extreme [O iii]+Hβ Emitting Galaxies Tracing an Overdensity at z ∼ 3.5 in CDF-South
Using deep multi-wavelength photometry of galaxies from zfourge, we group galaxies at by the shape of their spectral energy distributions (SEDs). We identify a population of galaxies with excess
The Dust Content and Opacity of Actively Star-forming Galaxies
We present far-infrared (FIR) photometry at 150 and 205 μm of eight low-redshift starburst galaxies obtained with the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) ISOPHOT. Five of the eight galaxies are detected
The 2175 Å Dust Feature in Star-forming Galaxies at 1.3 ≤ z ≤ 1.8: The Dependence on Stellar Mass and Specific Star Formation Rate
We present direct spectroscopic measurements of the broad 2175 Å absorption feature in 505 star-forming main-sequence galaxies at 1.3 ≤ z ≤ 1.8 using individual and stacked spectra from the
Linear bias and halo occupation distribution of emission-line galaxies from Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope
We present measurements of the linear galaxy bias of Hα and [OIII] emission line galaxies (ELGs) for the High Latitude Spectroscopic Survey (HLSS) of Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, using galaxy
GOODS-ALMA: Optically dark ALMA galaxies shed light on a cluster in formation at z = 3.5
Thanks to its outstanding angular resolution, the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) has recently unambiguously identified a population of optically dark galaxies with redshifts
