The Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness was adopted in 2005 and reaffirmed in Accra1 in 2008 at ministerial-level forums convened by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The principles and indicators included in the Paris Declaration frame what OECD calls a “landmark reform” in development cooperation2 endorsed by leading development practitioners.
