The Tammann phase boundary, exothermic disordering and the entropy contribution change on phase transformation

The relevance of exothermic melting according to the Tammann loop-shape crystal phase boundary (A. L. Greer, Nature, 2000, 404, 134) is examined. It is proposed that combined effects of the

Indentation test as a tool for monitoring the solidification process during injection molding

An inline method for monitoring the solidification process during the injection molding of semicrystalline polymers is demonstrated. The method has been applied to various poly(ethylene

A theoretical study on gas-phase reactions of acrylic acid with chlorine atoms: mechanism, kinetics, and insights

TLDR
The current study elucidates a new mechanism for the atmospheric reaction of chlorine atoms with acrylic acid using the variable reaction coordinate transition–state theory (VRC-TST).
