A bstractWe discover that the 26D open bosonic string scattering amplitudes (SSA) of three tachyons and one arbitrary string state can be expressed in terms of the D-type Lauricella functions with associated SLK+3,ℂ$$ \mathrm{S}\mathrm{L}\left(K+3,\mathbb{C}\right) $$ symmetry. As a result, SSA and symmetries or relations among SSA of different string states at various limits calculated previously can be rederived. These include the linear relations first conjectured by Gross [1-5] and later…

Recent Developments of the Lauricella String Scattering Amplitudes and Their Exact SL(K + 3, C) Symmetry

The construction of the exact string scattering amplitudes (SSA) of three tachyons and one arbitrary string state, or the Lauricella SSA, in the 26D open bosonic string theory is reviewed and it is shown that the SL(K +3,C) group can be used to solve all the LSSA and express them in terms of one amplitude.

Residues of bosonic string scattering amplitudes and the Lauricella functions

Abstract We calculate explicitly residues of all n-point Koba-Nielsen (KN) amplitudes by using on-shell recursion relation of string scattering amplitudes (SSA). In addition, we show that the

New series representations for the two-loop massive sunset diagram

We derive new convergent series representations for the two-loop sunset diagram with three different propagator masses $$m_1,\, m_2$$ m 1 , m 2 and $$m_3$$ m 3 and external momentum p by techniques

Interacting Open Bosonic String in the Proper-Time Gauge: Covariant Open Bosonic String Field Theory on Multiple D-Branes

We construct a covariant open bosonic string field theory on multiple D-branes, which reduces to a non-Abelian group Yang-Mills gauge theory in the zero-slope limit. Making use of the first quantized

Symmetry of String Scattering Amplitudes

We explore the hidden symmetry in string theory by studying string scattering amplitudes. We calculate 4-point open string scattering amplitudes with three tachyons and a massive higher spin string

The string BCJ relations revisited and extended recurrence relations of nonrelativistic string scattering amplitudes

A bstractWe review and extend high energy four point string BCJ relations in both the fixed angle and Regge regimes. We then give an explicit proof of four point string BCJ relations for all energy.

Recurrence relations of Kummer functions and Regge string scattering amplitudes

A bstractWe discover an infinite number of recurrence relations among Regge string scattering amplitudes [11, 30] of different string states at arbitrary mass levels in the open bosonic string

Six gluon open superstring disk amplitude, multiple hypergeometric series and Euler-Zagier sums

The six gluon disk amplitude is calculated in superstring theory. This amplitude probes the gauge interactions with six external legs on Dp-branes, in particular including e.g. F^6-terms. The full

High-energy String Scattering Amplitudes and Signless Stirling Number Identity

We give a complete proof of a set of identities (7) proposed recently from calculation of high-energy string scattering amplitudes. These identities allow one to extract ratios among high-energy

Patterns of high energy massive string scatterings in the Regge regime

We calculate high energy massive string scattering amplitudes of open bosonic string in the Regge regime (RR). We found that the number of high energy amplitudes for each fixed mass level in the RR

Scattering Amplitudes in Gauge Theories

This thesis is focused on the development of new mathematical methods for computing multi-loop scattering amplitudes in gauge theories. In this work we combine, for the first time, the
