This work deals with the influence of the gravitational field produced by a charged and rotating black hole (Kerr–Newman spacetime) on massive scalar fields. We obtain an exact solution of the Klein–Gordon equation in this spacetime, which is given in terms of the confluent Heun functions. In the particular case corresponding to an extreme Kerr–Newman black hole the solution is given by the double confluent Heun functions. We also investigate the solutions in the regions near the event horizon…
The Klein-Gordon Equation of a Rotating Charged Hairy Black Hole in (2+1) Dimensions
In this paper, we consider the Klein-Gordon equation in a 3D charged rotating hairy black hole background to study behavior of a massive scalar field. In the general case we find periodic-like
Generalized Klein–Gordon equation and quantum gravity corrections to tunneling of scalar particles from Kerr–Newman black hole
In this article we deduce the generalized Klein–Gordon Equation in curved spacetime in the presence of an electromagnetic field from first principles, using the generalized uncertainty principle.
Charged scalar fields in a Kerr–Sen black hole: exact solutions, Hawking radiation, and resonant frequencies
In this study, we consider charged massive scalar fields around a Kerr-Sen spacetime. The radial and angular parts of the covariant Klein-Gordon equation are solved in terms of the confluent Heun

Analytic solutions in the acoustic black hole analogue of the conical Kerr metric: massless scalar fields and Hawking-Unruh radiation
We study the sound perturbation of a rotating acoustic black hole in the presence of a disclination. The radial part of the massless Klein-Gordon equation is written into a Heun form, and its
Scalar resonant frequencies and Hawking effect of an $f(R)$ global monopole
Massive scalar fields are considered in the gravitational field produced by a Schwarzschild black hole with a global monopole in $f(R)$ gravity. The exact solution of the radial part of the
Several solutions of the Klein-Gordon equation in Kerr-Newman spacetime and the BSW effect
We investigate the radial part of the charged massive Klein-Gordon equation in Kerr-Newman spacetime, and in several specific situations, obtain exact solutions by means of essentially hypergeometric

Instability of Massive Scalar Fields in Kerr-Newman Spacetime
We investigate the instability of charged massive scalar fields in Kerr-Newman spacetime. Due to the super-radiant effect of the background geometry, the bound state of the scalar field is unstable,
